Tropicual De Vega 250ml

Early-harvest organic extra virgin olive oil from the Picual variety from a regenerative family farm in Andalusia, Spain. High in polyphenols (the healthy antioxidants of olive oil) at 778 mg/kg. Awarded 🥇 Extra Gold at BIOL Novello & Japan Olive Oil Competition. 

On the nose:  tomato leaf and artichoke, green apple, grape and green almond. On the palate: complex with elegant bitterness and a medium-intense peppery finish that lingers at the back of the throat — a hallmark of high-polyphenol Picual.  Food pairing: it will intensify any tomato-dish: from a simple tomato salad with sea salt, to a tomato pasta, soup or a pizza margarita.  Great on artichoke, asparagus and rucola salads. Try it as condiment on meats or vegetables on the BBQ. Drizzle it over vanilla ice-cream or dark chocolate mousse with coarse sea salt.

2. Oleosophia Early-Harvest Manaki 250ml 

An early-harvest medium-delicate extra virgin olive oil from the rare Manaki variety from a regenerative family farm in Corinthia, Greece.  Awarded🥇 Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards - Gold. 

On the nose:  a green fruity oil with aromas of green apple, green banana and almond. On the palate: buttery and luscious mouthfeel with almost no bitterness and a refined peppery finish reminiscent of pink peppercorn.  Pour over: Steamed artichokes with lemon zest, rucola salads, grilled asparagus, mashed potato or cannellini beans with rosemary. Avocado toast with chili flakes and sea salt and a Manaki finish. Add a fried egg, yes, also fried in Manaki. For a sweet treat pour over vanilla ice cream with sea salt or a lemon sorbet. Add a few drops into a Gin & Tonic for an aroma boost and a visual treat.

3. Oleosophia November Harvest 250ml 

A November harvest extra virgin olive oil - a field blend of the rare Manaki variety with Megaritiki from a regenerative family farm in Corinthia, Greece.  

On the nose: medium intense aromas of freshly-cut grass, ripe tomato, oregano and herbs. On the palate: Almost no bitterness with a gentle peppery finish, signaling the presence of oleocanthal - the natural anti-inflammatory in olive oil. Food pairings: Great on raw tomato dishes like a tomato carpaccio & bruschetta. Perfect on Greek salad, a lentil salad or a vegetable soup. Perfect for baking cakes with citrus or stone fruits. Drizzle over slices of orange and sprinkle some sugar (optional) and cinnamon, for a healthy dessert.
