Lelea Olive Oils — Terms & Conditions
Article 1 — Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions:
Lelea / we / us refers to Lelea Olive Oils, registered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Customer / you refers to any person placing an order through our website.
Products refers to extra virgin olive oils and tasting boxes offered through the Lelea website.
Pre-order refers to an order placed and paid before the Products are shipped.

Article 3 — Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through the Lelea Olive Oils website and Shopify checkout.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Article 4 — The Offer
Lelea offers small-batch extra virgin olive oils sourced from independent producers.
We aim to present products as accurately as possible. However:

Taste notes and flavour descriptions are subjective.

Natural variations in colour, aroma, and intensity may occur between batches.
Any health-related information originates from producer lab analyses and applicable EU regulations.
Article 5 — The Agreement
An agreement is formed when:

You place an order through Shopify checkout, and
-
Payment is completed successfully.
All orders during the soft launch are pre-orders, meaning the products will be shipped at a later date.
Article 6 — Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in Euros and include VAT where applicable.
Payment is made in full at the time of order through Shopify checkout.
Lelea reserves the right to adjust prices at any time before an order is placed.
Article 7 — Pre-Orders & Delivery
Products are shipped within 30 business days after order, unless stated otherwise on the product page.
Shipping scope: European Union.
Shipping is included for deliveries to the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
For other EU destinations, shipping conditions may vary.
Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Lelea cannot be held responsible for delivery failure caused by:

incorrect address details,
-
incorrect postal code,
-
incorrect contact telephone number.
If no one is home at delivery:
-
The carrier may deliver to a neighbour or arrange a second delivery attempt.

Parcels may be held at a local depot for collection.
If a parcel is not collected or delivery is not rearranged after multiple attempts, Lelea may contact you for further instructions and charge additional delivery or storage costs if applicable.
Article 8 — Right of Withdrawal & Returns
Due to the nature of sealed food products:

Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
Returns are accepted only when:
-
The product arrives damaged, or
-
The seal is compromised.
Minor cosmetic dents in tin packaging that do not affect product safety or quality are not considered damage.
Reporting Issues
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the product at:

If confirmed:

You may receive a replacement or refund.
If a delivery arrives visibly damaged, you may refuse acceptance.
Please notify us so we can arrange a replacement or full refund.
Lelea cannot guarantee refunds after the 14-day period, although we will always try to find a fair solution.
Article 9 — Product Use & Disclaimer
Lelea products are intended for culinary use only.
Lelea is not liable for:
-
individual taste preferences,
-
subjective flavour perception,
-
improper storage or use after delivery.
Olive oil is a natural agricultural product; variations between harvests and batches are normal.
Article 10 — Liability
Lelea operates as a small independent business and takes great care in sourcing and handling products.
Our liability is limited to the value of the purchased product unless otherwise required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under Dutch law.
Article 11 — Complaints Procedure

We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and work together toward a fair solution.
Article 12 — Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in The Netherlands.
